This Privacy Policy explains how SESHN (“SESHN”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website and services (the “Service”).

1.1 Spotify account information (via Spotify OAuth)

When you connect Spotify, we may receive and store information such as your Spotify user ID and access tokens/refresh tokens, and (depending on permissions you grant) information needed to compute your taste profile and create playlists at your request.

1.2 Preferences and activity within SESHN

We collect information you provide or generate while using the Service, such as your selected city, playlist selections (if applicable), and “Interested” / “Saved” signals on events.

1.3 Device and log information

Like most online services, we may collect log data (e.g., IP address, timestamps, pages viewed, error logs, and basic device/browser info) to maintain security, diagnose issues, and improve the Service.

1.4 Cookies

We may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in and to support core site functionality. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, we’ll update this policy accordingly.

2. How we use information

• Provide and operate the Service (login, sessions, core features).
• Personalize recommendations and improve relevance.
• Create playlists in Spotify when you request it.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
• Improve the Service (performance, reliability, user experience).

3. Sharing and disclosure

We may share information only as needed to provide the Service:

• Spotify (for authentication and creating playlists you request).
• Event providers (Ticketmaster/Eventbrite) for event discovery metadata and outbound links.
• Service providers (e.g., hosting, databases, monitoring) who process data on our behalf.
• Legal where required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.

4. Data retention

We retain information as long as necessary to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion (see “Your rights” below).

We take reasonable steps to protect information using technical and organizational measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on our hosting and service providers.

7. Your rights and choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing hello@seshn.live. You can also disconnect Spotify at any time via your Spotify account settings.

8. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party sites (e.g., ticketing providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
